Yes โ your CGHS card is accepted at Sukhayu Ayurved.
We are a NABH-certified Ayurvedic hospital in Jaipur, empanelled under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
If you are a serving central government employee, a central pensioner, or a dependent covered under CGHS, you can receive Panchakarma and Ayurvedic treatment at our hospital on a cashless basis โ subject to CGHS approval and referral for your condition.
And you will not be left to figure out the paperwork alone. Most people give up on CGHS Ayurvedic treatment not because of cost, but because the referral and permission process confuses them. We walk you through it, step by step.
"Do I Need a Referral First?" โ The Part Nobody Explains
This is the single most common question central government employees ask us. Here is the honest answer.
For CGHS, the pathway usually works like this:
- Your CGHS Wellness Centre (WC) is your first point. For most Ayurvedic and Panchakarma treatment, a referral or permission from your Wellness Centre Medical Officer is required before cashless treatment at an empanelled hospital.
- We tell you in advance exactly what your Wellness Centre will ask for and what to say, so you are not sent back and forth.
- We provide the hospital-side documents CGHS needs โ diagnosis, recommended treatment, and estimated duration โ in the format they expect.
- Once referral/permission is in place, your treatment proceeds cashless under CGHS.
โ ๏ธ Important: CGHS rules on referral, prior permission and the list of approved procedures are set by CGHS and are updated from time to time. The exact steps can vary by your card category (serving vs pensioner) and by the procedure. Send us your card details and we will confirm the current, correct pathway for your specific case โ before you make a single trip to the Wellness Centre.
Are You Eligible?
You can most likely use your CGHS card at Sukhayu Ayurved if you are:
- A serving central government employee with a valid CGHS card
- A central government pensioner covered under CGHS
- An employee of a CGHS-covered autonomous body / PSU / eligible category
- A dependent family member listed on a CGHS card
- Covered for AYUSH / Ayurveda benefits under your CGHS entitlement
What to bring to your first visit: your CGHS card, a valid photo ID, your Wellness Centre referral / permission (we will have guided you on this), and any previous prescriptions, blood reports, X-rays or MRI films.
What We Treat
Central government employees and pensioners come to us most often for chronic conditions that painkillers only manage, never resolve.
Spine conditions โ lumbar disc bulge and prolapse (L4-L5, L5-S1), slip disc and sciatica, cervical spondylosis, cervical myelopathy, post-surgical numbness and weakness, and chronic low back pain from years of desk work or postings.
Joint and autoimmune conditions โ Ankylosing Spondylitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis (Aamavata), osteoarthritis of the knee, gout, and frozen shoulder.
Neurological conditions โ post-stroke rehabilitation, peripheral neuropathy, and facial palsy (Bell's palsy).
Sukhayu Ayurved is not a wellness spa. We are a hospital that treats chronic disease.
Dr. Pardeep Sharma, M.D. (Ayurveda), personally examines every patient. Your disease is staged before any Panchakarma procedure is planned โ because Panchakarma given without a diagnosis is not treatment.
We do not sell packages. We treat diagnoses.
How It Works, End to End
- Call or WhatsApp us with a photo of your CGHS card. We confirm eligibility and explain your referral pathway โ usually the same day.
- Referral guidance โ we tell you exactly what your Wellness Centre needs, so your visit there is quick and successful.
- Consultation with Dr. Pardeep Sharma โ full clinical examination, review of reports, and staging of your disease.
- Written treatment plan + CGHS documentation โ we prepare the diagnosis and treatment documents CGHS requires, and tell you what is covered.
- Cashless approval, admission, treatment and follow-up, documented at every stage.
Why It Matters That We Are NABH Certified
CGHS empanelment is not given to every Panchakarma centre in Jaipur.
It requires NABH certification โ an independent national accreditation auditing clinical protocols, physician and therapist qualifications, medicine quality and sourcing, infection control, patient records, and patient safety.
Most Panchakarma centres in Jaipur are not, and cannot be, empanelled under CGHS.
When a hospital is empanelled, your treatment is documented, auditable, and delivered by qualified physicians and trained therapists โ not by untrained staff working from a price list.
The same certification that lets us accept your CGHS card is also your guarantee of clinical standards.
What We Will Never Do
- We will never promise you a cure. Cure is divine. Treatment is possible.
- We will never sell you a Panchakarma package before we have examined and diagnosed you.
- We will never tell you to stop a medicine prescribed by your physician. Ayurvedic care here works alongside your existing treatment, not instead of it.
- We will never begin treatment without telling you the full coverage and any out-of-pocket cost in writing.
If a centre promises you a guaranteed cure, walk out. Ask them for their NABH certificate instead.

Dr. Pardeep explained my MRI to me line by line." โ Hari Prasad Maurya ji, Retired, Indian Railways
"I am a serving central government officer. I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. What I valued most was that Dr. Pardeep staged my disease and gave me an honest timeline in writing โ he did not promise me a miracle. My treatment was covered under CGHS." โ Sita Ram Meena Ji, Serving Central Government Employee
"My father is a CGHS pensioner. His knee osteoarthritis had confined him to the ground floor. The team handled every piece of CGHS paperwork. We simply brought the card and his old reports." โ Jitendar Goswami, on behalf of a CGHS pensioner

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Sukhayu Ayurved empanelled under CGHS? Yes. Sukhayu Ayurved is a NABH-certified Ayurvedic hospital in Jaipur empanelled under the Central Government Health Scheme. Serving central government employees, pensioners, and their dependents covered under CGHS can receive treatment here.
Do I need a referral from my CGHS Wellness Centre before coming? For most Ayurvedic and Panchakarma treatment under CGHS, a referral or prior permission from your Wellness Centre Medical Officer is required before cashless treatment at an empanelled hospital. The exact requirement depends on your card category and the procedure. Send us a photo of your CGHS card on WhatsApp and we will tell you the correct current pathway, and exactly what your Wellness Centre will ask for โ before you make the trip.
Is Panchakarma covered under CGHS? Panchakarma procedures are covered under CGHS for approved conditions, subject to referral, prior permission where applicable, and your entitlement. Coverage and approved-procedure lists are determined by CGHS, not by the hospital, and are revised from time to time. We confirm what applies to your specific diagnosis before treatment begins.
Will the treatment be cashless? Yes, for covered conditions and procedures, once the required CGHS referral and permission are in place. We handle the hospital-side paperwork directly. Where a procedure falls outside your coverage, we tell you the cost in writing before treatment begins.
Can my dependent parents or family use my CGHS card here? Yes, provided they are listed as dependents on your CGHS card and the treatment is approved under CGHS. Please bring the card, the dependent's photo ID, and the Wellness Centre referral.
What documents should I bring on my first visit? Your CGHS card, a valid photo ID, your Wellness Centre referral or permission (we will guide you on obtaining it), and any previous prescriptions, blood reports, X-rays or MRI films.
Do you also accept RGHS and cashless insurance? Yes. Sukhayu Ayurved is also empanelled under RGHS โ see our RGHS Ayurveda hospital page โ and accepts cashless treatment under several health insurance policies. Please call to confirm your specific policy before your visit.
Is Ayurvedic treatment safe alongside the medicines I am already taking? Yes, when supervised by a qualified physician. Dr. Pardeep Sharma reviews your existing prescriptions before planning treatment. Never stop or reduce a prescribed medicine without consulting the physician who prescribed it. Ayurvedic care here is complementary to your existing treatment, not a replacement.
How long does treatment take for a spine or joint condition? It depends on your diagnosis and stage โ a disc problem caught early behaves very differently from Ankylosing Spondylitis in its third stage. After examining and staging your condition, Dr. Pardeep Sharma gives you a realistic timeline in writing.
Will you guarantee a cure? No. No honest physician will. Cure is divine; treatment is possible. What we give you is an accurate diagnosis, a staged understanding of your disease, a documented protocol, and an honest assessment of what improvement is realistic.
